Compared to modern vehicles it is compact.
My Voyager branches on sub compact!
It’s only 1" longer and 1" wider than a Nissan Versa!
It’s 5" shorter and the same width as a Corolla!

E veryone is a little on edge and short on patience. Being bunkered down and then having a 5.7 earthquake wake you up does that. I think we’re doing a little better today but we are still trying to figure out how to manage stress as individuals.

My (pregnant) daughter is in Logan and called right after the quake. In Africa, there is a crushing locust infestation.

We were looking at the passenger version for a while. Lack of power was the only reason I never pulled the trigger.
If they made a V6 variant I’d have one in my driveway. Instead they put and even less powerful engine in them!

What an interesting corroboration of birth sequences.

I’ve never driven in nor ridden in one. Nor even looked at one up close. I just think the proportions look very sensible.

What we are experiencing meshes quite well with previous monumental volcano eruptions and other natural cycles. If Taal blows a noticeable shift will probably occur. If unnatural pollution recedes and is sustained over tourism and wanton pleasures a noticeable shift will occur.

I did that in my suburban from time-to-time back in the day. Compact can be relative. Compared to the crew cab/long bed, 4x4 GMC 3500 dually I had before it, the suburban felt downright small.

I could understand many of the individual words in that post, but overall, I have almost no idea what you said.

If it didn’t roll coal, then it was compact.

They drive and ride like a car. They feel extremely tight/responsive compared to other minivans.
The interior is more on utility side of things, but the seats are comfortable and it seems well built.
They can tow 2k lbs, but that was of no concern to me.
T
he lack of power was the only downside for me. The driving experience almost won me over honestly. If I could get one with 250-ish HP and good low end I’d be all over it. Instead they traded the 184HP moddable 2.5L for a 152hp 2.0L.......

Seems kind of backward. CAFE mileage standards, perhaps? 152 HP is few.

Compact-exclusive parking spaces should be banned, at least in the US. So few cars qualify anymore. Hell, even the 9 foot w idth for standard parking spaces is barely enough these days .

I was noting a difference between everyone who lived through any number of events knowing their world is on the brink of ending and the earth not supporting life anymore. There is historically a lot of upheaval surrounding the most powerful upheaval in nature’s arsenal.

It’s surreal. Sitting here in my comfortable home, going along with this modified version of life, knowing that the world is about to blow up at some time soon. Or maybe not. Or maybe only halfway blow up. Totally bizarre.

It’s ok, they added 2 more gears to it to make up for the lack of power.........
